On March 2, the Emergency Management Bureau of Yuhu District, Xiangtan City, Hunan Province issued a situation report: At around 20:06 on March 1, a suspected leak and explosion of a household liquefied gas tank occurred in the Jinyuan Community of Yuhu District, Xiangtan City. After the incident, the fire rescue, emergency management, public security and other departments quickly organized forces to rush to the scene for rescue and disposal. The incident resulted in 6 injuries, including 1 person who died despite being sent to the hospital for treatment; 1 person with serious injuries is currently undergoing intensive treatment with stable vital signs; the remaining 4 people suffered minor injuries. Currently, the cause of the incident is under investigation, and the follow-up disposal is being carried out orderly.
