Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi participated in the G7 foreign ministers' teleconference, sharing information and exchanging views with other countries. The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this on the 1st. During the meeting, the US side outlined the latest developments and future prospects. Motegi reiterated Japan's position that the development of nuclear weapons by Iran is unacceptable and that Japan consistently supports US efforts to resolve the issue through dialogue. He also stated that Japan will continue to cooperate with the international community and conduct diplomatic efforts.
