On February 28th, the construction of the Yellow River photovoltaic sand control buffer belt project in Alxa League, Inner Mongolia, officially started. As a key project of the sixth phase of the "Three-North" Engineering, the comprehensive start of this project also marks the beginning of ecological construction in Alxa League for the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. With the issuance of the construction order, the site is buzzing with the roar of machinery, and work such as pile driving and laying grass grids is fully underway. According to the overall deployment of the sixth phase of the "Three-North" Engineering, by 2026, Alxa League plans to complete sand control and afforestation on more than 2.4 million acres, focusing on implementing 15 projects to further strengthen the three major desert edge forest and grass belts, ensuring that the reforestation and grass planting survival rate remains stable at above 70%.
