The prices of raw materials are rising, combined with strong downstream demand, leading several leading power semiconductor companies to announce price hikes.
The power semiconductor industry is ushering in a new round of price hikes. Recently, domestic power semiconductor company Xinjie Energy announced a price adjustment notice, announcing a 10% price increase for MOSFET products, effective from March 1st. Prior to this, leading companies such as Infineon Technologies, STMicroelectronics, and Jiangsu Zhongwei Technology Co., Ltd. have successively issued product price adjustment notices, with price increases generally ranging from 10% to 20%, and some products even higher. "The main reason for the price increase in the power semiconductor industry this time is the intensified cost pressure and the structural demand explosion driven by AI," said Ding Bingzhong, a partner at Shanghai Jimao Asset Management Co., Ltd., in an interview with reporters.
