Establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Metabolic Disease Cooperation Center in China

On February 27, the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Metabolic Diseases Cooperation Center was established at the Ruijin Hospital affiliated with the School of Medicine at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. This is the first national-level specialized cooperation platform in Shanghai under the SCO, aimed at coordinating the efforts of SCO member countries to address and systematically manage the challenges of metabolic diseases, and enhance the well-being of the people of all member countries. This event received active responses from SCO member states, observer states, and dialogue partners, with representatives from 24 countries' embassies in China attending the event.
