You can now view the usage count of images and videos in WeChat. Multiple references do not duplicate or occupy storage space.

Recently, WeChat has introduced the "face-to-face photo and file sharing" feature, as well as the ability to view the usage frequency of images, videos, and files in chat records, and to see who has forwarded related content to which people or chat groups. The specific operation method is to long press on any image, video or file in the chat, and you can see the option "view the chats this image/video/file is included in" on the bottom right. Clicking on it will show you how these images and videos are used in different chats, allowing for quick tracing.
