February 26th: The "Agricultural Wholesale Price Index 200" decreased by 0.70 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on February 26, the "200 Index of Wholesale Prices of Agricultural Products" was 127.07, a decrease of 0.70 points from yesterday, and the "Basket of Vegetables" Index for wholesale prices of products was 129.50, a decrease of 0.82 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market was 17.93 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.5% from yesterday; beef was 66.43 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.3% from yesterday; mutton was 65.36 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.9% from yesterday; eggs were 7.75 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.4% from yesterday; and boneless chicken was 17.34 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.7% from yesterday. The average price of the 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.38 yuan/kg, the same as yesterday; the average price of the 6 key monitored fruits was 8.02 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% from yesterday. The price of crucian carp was 19.93 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.6% from yesterday; grass carp was 14.94 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; silver carp was 10.11 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.7% from yesterday; and bighead carp was 42.85 yuan/kg, an increase of 3.3% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in the domestic wholesale market, the top five in terms of price increase compared to yesterday are bighead carp, bananas, lotus roots, shallots, and mushrooms, with increases of 3.3%, 2.6%, 2.3%, 2.1%, and 1.8% respectively; the top five in terms of price decrease are watermelon, tomatoes, lettuce, oyster mushrooms, and zucchini, with decreases of 2.1%, 1.8%, 1.7%, 1.7%, and 1.3% respectively.
