The French National Assembly rejects two motions of no confidence against the government's energy plan.
The French National Assembly announced on the 25th that two motions of no confidence against the government's energy planning were rejected in the vote on the same day. This is the fifth time since the beginning of the year that the government led by Prime Minister Le Col has survived a vote of no confidence. The two motions of no confidence received 140 and 108 votes in favor respectively, both failing to reach the threshold of 289 votes needed for a motion of no confidence to pass, that is, to receive the support of a majority of members of the National Assembly.
