The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) stated on Wednesday that trading in the CME Globex metals and natural gas futures and options markets has been temporarily halted due to technical issues. The exchange operator said that its support team is investigating the issue. Earlier this month, the CME Group reported delays in the publishing of metal settlement prices. All orders placed on the same day and designated day prior to the current day (GTD) orders will be canceled. All confirmed cancel before market open (GTC) orders will remain valid and will be placed in the market.
