Reporters learned at a press briefing held by the Shanghai Market Supervision Administration on the 25th that recently, Shanghai has taken the lead in introducing the country's first online application scenario for foreign-funded enterprise registration based on cross-border digital identity authentication. Under this new service model, Singaporean companies can complete identity verification and electronic signing online through their authorized signatories, without the need to submit paper documents offline. This reduces the time and cost associated with notarization, authentication, document delivery, and circulation, achieving an upgraded foreign-funded enterprise registration service model of "faceless approval" and "zero running for registration." In the future, Shanghai will continue to expand its cross-border digital trust cooperation network to provide convenient and secure digital government services for global investors, continuously enhance the convenience of foreign investment, and further strengthen Shanghai's attractiveness as an international investment destination.
