Chen Ce, former chairman of Gansu Province Urban and Rural Development Investment Group Co., Ltd., has been expelled from the Communist Party of China and dismissed from public office.

After investigation, Chen Ce, as a member of the Party and a leading cadre of a state-owned enterprise, has lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original intentions and mission, been disloyal and dishonest to the Party, colluded with others, transferred and concealed evidence, and resisted organizational inspection. He violated the spirit of the Eight Central Regulations, accepted banquets multiple times that may influence the impartial performance of official duties; violated organizational principles, did not report personal matters as required, sought personal gain for others and accepted money in cadre selection and appointment work; lost his integrity, accepted gifts and money improperly, accepted arrangements for tourism activities paid for by others that should have been paid by himself, engaged in profit-making activities; violated life discipline; greed inflated, using public power as a tool to seek personal gain, engaging in power-money transactions, using his position to benefit others in project contracting, fund allocation, promotion, and job transfers, and illegally accepting huge amounts of money and goods. His actions seriously undermine the political ecology of the unit he serves, and seriously damage the image of Party cadres.
