Chen Maobo: International Clinical Trials Institute to be Established Next Year.

On February 25th, the Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Paul Chan, delivered the Government Budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year at the Legislative Council. Chan stated that the "International Clinical Trials Academy" will be established next year to contribute to the country's biopharmaceutical technology and help Hong Kong become an international medical innovation hub. In addition, 5 billion Hong Kong dollars will be allocated to the "Chinese Medicine Development Fund" for strategic research, training, and international promotion.
