Mexico initiates anti-dumping investigation on Chinese cold-rolled coil panels.
Recently, the Ministry of Economy of Mexico announced that, in response to an application from Mexican producer Ternium Mxico, S.A. de C.V., an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on cold-rolled coils originating from China, the United States, and Malaysia. At the same time, an anti-subsidy investigation has been launched on products from the United States. The investigation period for this case is from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, and the injury analysis period is from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2025. The products involved are non-annealed and annealed cold-rolled coils, with a thickness of less than 4.75 millimeters, unlimited width, and no coating or plating, whether alloyed or non-alloyed, related to products under TIGIE tariff codes 7209.15.04, 7209.16.01, 7209.17.01, 7209.18.01, 7209.25.01, 7209.26.01, 7209.27.01, 7209.28.01, 7209.90.99, and others. The announcement will be effective the day after its publication.
