On Tuesday, the three major U.S. stock indexes closed higher, with the Dow rising 0.79%, the Nasdaq rising 1.04%, and the S&P 500 rising 0.79%. Large-cap tech stocks generally rose, with AMD up over 8%, Intel up over 5%, Oracle up over 3%, Apple, Tesla, and Netflix up over 2%, Amazon and Microsoft up over 1%, Nvidia and Meta slightly higher, while Google and Micron fell slightly.
