The United States imposes sanctions on individuals and entities from Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
On February 24th local time, the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control announced that, in accordance with the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act and related cyber sanctions measures, four individuals and three entities have been added to the "Specially Designated Nationals" list, involving Russia and the United Arab Emirates. According to the announcement, the assets and property rights of the sanctioned entities within the United States will be frozen, and U.S. citizens and institutions are prohibited from conducting transactions with them. Some entities also face additional restrictions, including prohibiting U.S. financial institutions from providing loans exceeding a certain amount, restricting foreign exchange transactions, and prohibiting U.S. individuals from investing in their equity or debt instruments.
