Amazon China Vice President Qiu Sheng: Will Set Up a Global Intelligent Hub Warehouse in Shenzhen.

Amazon China Vice President Qiu Sheng stated that by 2025, the number of Chinese sellers on Amazon with sales exceeding $2 million, $5 million, and $8 million will all achieve growth of over 20%; the number of sellers with sales exceeding $10 million will see an increase of nearly 30%. A strong supply chain is the key to the success of sellers. Building on the foundation of investing over a hundred billion dollars in the global logistics network, Amazon will launch the "next generation cross-border chain". The first Amazon Global Smart Hub Warehouse (GWD) will be established in Shenzhen, the city with the highest concentration of global cross-border sellers, and will be fully operational in March of this year. This will allow cross-border e-commerce companies to "ship from local warehouses to global customers" and unlock global business opportunities in a one-stop shop. With the most concentrated manufacturing industry, the most mature cross-border ecosystem, the most efficient collection network, and the birthplace of 70% of global cross-border goods, Amazon establishing a GWD warehouse in Shenzhen is equivalent to setting up a dispatch center at the heart of the supply chain, solidifying the foundation for the development of the "next generation cross-border chain."
