Internet giants showering employees with special red envelopes for the start of work
On February 24th, the first day back to work after the Chinese New Year holiday, many companies gave out red envelopes to their employees. Tencent gave each employee a "back-to-work red envelope" of 400 yuan, as well as random "cheer-up envelopes". Lei Jun and the executive team at Xiaomi distributed red envelopes to Xiaomi employees, wishing everyone a prosperous new year. Kuaishou also distributed red envelopes to all employees, with regular employees receiving 366 yuan and interns receiving 200 yuan. Baidu's founder, Robin Li, sent customized blessings and red envelopes to all employees through the work software "Ruliu", even including interns. The red envelopes given out by Baidu this time ranged from 365 yuan, 588 yuan, 666 yuan, 888 yuan, to 2026 yuan. Employees could receive up to 2026 yuan in a large red envelope, while interns could receive 188 yuan. The amount of the red envelope was not related to the length of employment, but was randomly distributed by the system. The red envelopes contained a message saying: "Happy New Year! Let's stick to simple and reliable values in the new year. Let's dream, hold the key to AI, break through the cocoon of efficiency, and harness the power of innovation. Let's use technology together to make the complex world simpler!" It is worth noting that Baidu did not have the habit of giving out back-to-work red envelopes after the end of the Spring Festival holiday before.
