The father of the Black Swan warns of bankruptcy and market fluctuations in the software industry.
Nassim Taleb warns investors: as the AI-driven boom enters a more fragile stage, volatility in the software industry will intensify and bankruptcies may occur, investors need to be prepared. The author of "The Black Swan" believes that the market is underestimating structural risks and overestimating the durability of today's AI leading companies. He warns that although AI will bring huge profits, history shows that early pioneers are often replaced. "There will definitely be people making big money in the AI field," Taleb said in an interview during the SeaFair event in Miami hosted by Universa Investments. But he pointed out that it may not necessarily be the companies currently dominating the AI market. He stated that with technological instability, increased competition, and changes in the geopolitical landscape reshaping the entire industry, the likelihood of bankruptcies for some companies in the software sector is high.
