The yield on Germany's 10-year government bonds fell by about 3 basis points as uncertainty caused by Trump's tariffs forced investors to seek safe havens.
At the end of the European session on Monday, the yield on German 10-year government bonds fell by 2.7 basis points to 2.711%, trading in a range of 2.740% - 2.710% during the day. Before 21:14 Beijing time, it held steady near the 2.740% level, then continued to decline. The yield on two-year German bonds fell by 1.8 basis points to 2.035%, trading in a range of 2.055% - 2.035% during the day. The yield on 30-year German bonds fell by 1.6 basis points to 3.384%. The yield spread between 2-year and 10-year German bonds fell by 0.904 basis points to +67.313 basis points.
