Renowned professor at Renmin University, Liu Zhenyun, awarded the Italy International North-South Literature Prize.

The journalist learned from Renmin University of China that on February 20, 2026, the 15th Italy International North-South Literature Award ceremony was held in Pescara, Italy. Renowned writer, recipient of the Mao Dun Literature Award, and professor at Renmin University of China's School of Literature, Liu Zhenyun, won the award. The School of Literature at the university introduced that this is the first time a Chinese novelist has won this award.
