A man attempting to break into the Trump National Golf Club was shot and killed.
The US Secret Service announced on the 22nd that a man who attempted to break into President Trump's private residence at Mar-a-Lago was shot dead that day. The Secret Service said that around 1:30 am on the 22nd, a man in his early twenties illegally entered the security perimeter of Mar-a-Lago and was subsequently shot dead by a Secret Service agent and a deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office in Florida. The Secret Service said that the man was found near the north gate of Mar-a-Lago, and at the time he was suspected of carrying a gun and a fuel canister. Authorities are investigating the man's background, behavior, and motive.
