Aden News: The new government of Yemen held its first meeting in the temporary capital of Aden on the 19th. Later that day, protesters supporting the Southern Transitional Council, a local power, gathered in front of the presidential palace in Aden, demanding the new government to leave Aden. Government security forces dispersed them. According to the Sabah News Agency controlled by the Yemeni government, Prime Minister Shaya Muhsin Az-Zindani chaired the first meeting of the new government. Zindani reiterated, "Disorder should not be encouraged or incited under any circumstances." A local security official told Xinhua News Agency reporters that on the evening of the 19th, protesters gathered at the entrance of the Aden presidential palace and tried to advance forward, demanding the new government to leave Aden. Government security forces then opened fire to disperse them. The Presidential Guard responsible for protecting the presidential palace also fired warning shots into the air.
