The North American Aerospace Defense Command dispatched two F-16 fighter jets, two F-35 fighter jets, one E-3 airborne early warning aircraft, and four KC-135 refueling planes to intercept and confirm the aircraft, and escort it out of the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone.
