European major stock indices closed higher.

The European Stoxx 600 index rose by 1.23%, the Eurozone Stoxx index rose by 1.24%, and the Eurozone blue-chip index rose by 1.37%. The French CAC 40 index rose by 0.88%; the Spanish IBEX index rose by 1.38%, the UK FTSE 100 index rose by 1.28%, and the German DAX index rose by 1.16%.
