European natural gas prices continued to fall, with mild weather and stable supply keeping the market balanced. Prices fell for the fourth consecutive trading day, hovering near five-week lows. Despite the region's large gas storage facilities being below seasonal average levels, strong shipping and Norwegian pipeline volumes in recent weeks have effectively met market demand. Mild weather is expected to continue in the coming weeks, which will help reduce further depletion of stocks. As of 11:30 Amsterdam time, the European natural gas benchmark Dutch near-month futures contract fell by 1.5%, to 29.36 euros per megawatt hour.
