The California Department of Motor Vehicles stated that Tesla has taken measures to comply with its marketing practices for its vehicles' autonomous driving capabilities, and therefore will not face a 30-day sales ban in the state. The agency said in a statement on Tuesday that Tesla has taken "corrective actions" to avoid suspended sales. Last December, the company was given 90 days to achieve compliance after an administrative judge ruled on accusations by the state regulatory agency that Tesla had exaggerated the capabilities of its Autopilot and Full Self-Driving features in its marketing.
