Netflix will continue to operate Warner's production studio and HBO as usual.
Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said that if the merger agreement is successful, this streaming giant will continue to allow Warner Bros. Studios and HBO to operate as they currently do, exploring film and television production. He stated that Netflix will also invest in promoting the growth of these institutions. Sarandos said that the deal will create value for Warner's shareholders and, importantly, will continue the development of the entertainment industry. He said, "The outcome of this deal will be closely related to many participants." Prior to this, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that they would restart negotiations with Paramount, setting the stage for a possible bidding war with Netflix.
