In Yunnan Chuxiong, a tour boat capsized and locals are making every effort to rescue the drowning passengers.

The journalist learned from the publicity department of Chuxiong City, Yunnan Province that at around 16:30 on February 17th, a tourist boat capsized at Lianxiwan Tourist Resort in Donghua Town, Chuxiong City, resulting in 4 people drowning. After the incident, local emergency and firefighting forces have been organized to participate in the rescue work. As of 20:30 on the 17th, 2 of the drowning victims have been confirmed dead, while the other 2 are receiving treatment in the hospital. Relevant work is currently ongoing.
