A mine in northern Myanmar collapsed, casualties and injuries unknown.

A collapse accident occurred in a jade mine area in Pagan Town, Kachin State, northern Myanmar on the evening of the 16th, and the casualties are currently unknown. The police said that there were about 50 people at the incident site, some of whom escaped unharmed, but the number of missing persons has not been confirmed, and no trapped individuals have been rescued so far.
