According to statistics on meteorological data from five national stations in Guangzhou over the past decade, the average highest temperature on the eve of Chinese New Year in 2026 is 28.8C, ranking first in the past decade. Starting today, a cold front is moving in, and from the first day to the second day of the new year, the average daily temperature in Guangzhou will drop by 4-6C, with the highest temperature dropping to 21-22C.
