NIO announced: We are delighted to report that on February 15, 2026, the total number of battery swaps at NIO reached 146,649, setting a new record. Achieving 1 billion battery swaps on February 6, 2026, marks the full-scale validation of the battery swap model by users and the market, making it the mainstream solution for added charging capacity for new energy vehicles in China. So far, there are over 8,600 NIO charging and swapping stations nationwide, including over 3,700 battery swap stations. NIO's highway battery swap stations exceed 1,000, connecting 9 vertical and 11 horizontal city clusters and 16 major cities across the country, linking a total of 550 cities.
