Emergency Management Department: Strengthening safety supervision of large passenger vehicles during the Spring Festival holiday.
On February 15th, the Ministry of Emergency Management held a video dispatch meeting to further emphasize and refine the safety prevention work during the Spring Festival holiday. The meeting emphasized the need to comprehensively assess risks. Taking into account the characteristics of the festival, local areas and industries should reevaluate and refine their safety risks, accurately identifying traditional risks and sensitively addressing new situations and risks, and proposing targeted prevention and control measures.
Efforts should be coordinated to ensure the safety of the Spring Festival travel rush, strengthen the supervision of safety in high-capacity transportation vehicles, conduct dynamic passenger flow monitoring and risk assessment, and promote the enhancement of safety supervision in cultural and tourism industries. In densely populated areas such as popular scenic spots and large event venues, on-site risk control should be strengthened and emergency response plans should be improved.
Large integrated complexes, markets, hotels, high-rise buildings, and other crowded places should be prioritized for supervision, with strict management of fire safety. Fireworks and firecrackers safety control measures should be reinforced and orderly organized.
Inspections and management of potential hazards in key industries such as mining, hazardous chemicals, industrial and commercial, construction and metallurgy should be intensified to firmly prevent any major accidents from occurring.
