From the China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd., it is learned that the Yangtze River Delta Railway is expected to transport 2.88 million passengers today. The Shanghai Railway Group will continue to increase the capacity on key routes and peak travel times, with plans to add 325 passenger trains, including 202 through trains to the northeast, Yungui, Sichuan-Chongqing, northwest, Hunan, Hubei, Henan, and other regions; 123 local passenger trains mainly heading towards Anhui and northern Jiangsu, and 223 additional high-speed trains. Among the additional trains, there will be 290 overnight high-speed trains.
