American manned "Dragon" spacecraft successfully docked with the International Space Station.
Around 15:15 on the 14th East Coast time, the American SpaceX Dragon spacecraft carrying four astronauts successfully docked with the International Space Station. The Dragon spacecraft was launched by the Falcon 9 rocket from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on the 13th East Coast time. This is the 12th time the Dragon spacecraft has transported rotating astronauts to the International Space Station. The four astronauts are Jessica Meir and Jack Haubbe from NASA, Sophie Adnau from the European Space Agency, and Andrei Feoktistov from the Russian State Space Corporation. With the arrival of the four astronauts, the number of astronauts on the International Space Station has returned to the normal operating configuration of 7 people. Since the previous team of astronauts returned to Earth early due to health reasons, the space station has only been operated by 3 people since mid-January. According to NASA, the four astronauts will be on this space mission for about 8 months, during which they will conduct various scientific experiments to prepare for future exploration missions to the Moon and Mars, such as studying the interaction between plants and nitrogen-fixing bacteria to enhance food production capacity in space environments.
