Report: During the visit to India, the Brazilian President will sign multiple cooperation agreements to deepen digital and economic trade cooperation.

According to reports, Brazilian President Lula will attend the Global Artificial Intelligence Summit on February 19-20 and meet with Indian Prime Minister Modi during his state visit on February 21. Lula will then continue his official visit to South Korea on February 23. Eugnio Vargas Garcia, Director of Technology, Innovation, and Intellectual Property at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said: "This is the first time the Brazilian president will participate in a global high-level event in the field of artificial intelligence." During the visit, Brazil and India are expected to sign a declaration of digital partnership for the future. The agenda also includes a memorandum of understanding on critical minerals and rare earths, and the extension of the validity of business visas between the two countries from 5 years to 10 years. Another focus is on expanding the Mercosur-India agreement to increase bilateral trade from $15 billion by 2025 to $20 billion by 2030. The Brazilian aerospace company is also expected to sign a cooperation agreement with the Indian ADA Defence and Aerospace Company.
