The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently publicly solicited opinions on five mandatory national standards, including "Safety Requirements for Intelligent Connected Vehicles Automated Driving Systems". It is reported that this standard specifies the technical requirements, protection requirements, and type approval of the automated driving system for intelligent connected vehicles. It describes methods such as verification of protection requirements, security file inspection, and confirmatory testing, which will help enhance the safety and reliability of automated driving systems, prevent and mitigate security risks from the source, and promote innovation and industrial upgrading of autonomous driving technology.
