China Unicom announced that its indirectly controlled subsidiary Unicom Ventures had previously used 1 billion yuan of its own funds to subscribe for shares of Chengtong Innovation Fund. Recently, the fund has been filed with the China Securities Investment Fund Industry Association, with a filing date of February 12, 2026. This transaction is beneficial for expanding the company's investment channels, optimizing structure, and has synergies with the main business. However, there are various risks in fund management operations, including market and technical risks. As of now, the company's total investment in cooperation with private equity funds has reached 9.877 billion yuan.
