Nigerian military says it is ready to "go to war" with France, French side denies allegations of interference.

Niger: Ibrahim Amadou Basharu, the Chief of Staff to the President of the National Committee for the Defense of the Homeland of Niger, recently condemned French interference in the national situation, declaring that they will "enter into a state of war" with France. A spokesperson for the French military subsequently denied intervention in the situation in Niger.
