Shandong issued the 2026 Key Project Guidelines for Enterprise Technology Upgrades.

Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province jointly issued the "Guiding Catalogue of Key Projects for Technological Transformation of Enterprises in Shandong Province by 2026" with other departments. The "Guiding Catalogue" includes a total of 1610 projects in four directions: high-end transformation, intelligent transformation, green transformation, and safe transformation, with a total investment of 61,333,688.49 million yuan. The notice requires increasing the effort in project promotion. It also calls for improving the monitoring system for key technological transformation projects, analyzing the progress and investment of projects listed in the guiding catalogue each month in order to promptly grasp the progress of project procedures, construction, element guarantee, investment statistics, and promote projects to start construction in compliance with the law at an early stage. Local governments are required to implement the main responsibilities for project advancement, actively coordinate to solve the difficulties faced by projects, and provide on-site assistance and guidance in a timely manner for abnormal investment progress, helping to accelerate the formation of investment increments for projects and laying a solid foundation for stable investment operation.
