Tickets to the Louvre and Versailles palaces are being fraudulently sold. A large-scale scam network has been broken up.

On February 12th, local time, according to the Paris prosecutor's office, a large-scale fraud network involving the ticketing systems of the Louvre Museum and the Palace of Versailles was dismantled earlier this week. A total of 9 people were arrested, including 2 museum staff, several tour guides, and one person suspected to be the organizer of the network. The fraud case involved selling fake tickets and overbooking tour groups, with victims including the Louvre Museum and the Palace of Versailles. The losses incurred by the Louvre Museum alone amounted to over 10 million euros. According to the Paris prosecutor's office, a total of over 957,000 euros in cash was seized, along with 486,000 euros spread across multiple bank accounts. A police source also mentioned the confiscation of three vehicles and several bank safes.
