Data released by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) on Thursday shows that the seasonally adjusted annual rate of existing home sales in the United States dropped to 3.91 million units in January, a decrease of 8.4% from the previous month, marking the largest monthly decline since April 2022 and well below the market's median expectations.
