The Kyrgyzstan parliament voted to elect a new Speaker.

On February 12, local time, the Kyrgyzstan Parliament held a secret ballot, and Marle Mamataliev was elected as the new Speaker. Former Speaker Turdunkbek Uulu resigned on the same day.
