In order to implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Party Central Committee, further implement the special action to boost consumption, better play the role of movies in driving consumption growth, promote the transformation of the film industry towards a diverse consumption ecology, the National Film Administration and the Ministry of Commerce organize the comprehensive pilot work of "film + " consumption. According to the selection of provinces and cities, Beijing's Chaoyang District, Changchun City in Jilin Province, Hongkou District in Shanghai, Wuxi City in Jiangsu Province, Ningbo City in Zhejiang Province, Fuzhou City in Fujian Province, Qingdao City in Shandong Province, Zhengzhou City in Henan Province, Yichang City in Hubei Province, Changsha City in Hunan Province, Shenzhen City in Guangdong Province, Liangjiang New Area in Chongqing, Chengdu City in Sichuan Province, Yan'an City in Shaanxi Province, as well as Kunshan City in Jiangsu Province, Nanxun District in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, 16 cities are designated as "film +" comprehensive pilot cities. According to the work plan, pilot cities will carry out pilot work in cultivating incremental consumption of film viewing, promoting quality innovation in cinema consumption, innovating and expanding film derivative consumption, deepening the creation of "film +" consumption brands, exploring "film +" consumption monitoring, and other aspects, fully utilizing the role of film creativity in leading, nurturing ideals, and gathering popularity, empowering economic and social development with "film +" consumption, creating new formats, new models, and new scenes of film-related consumption, further extending the film industry chain, value chain, and consumption chain, cultivating a healthy culture and good ecology of film consumption, promoting the prosperity and development of the film market, better meeting the growing demand for a better life of the people.
