The 2025 production and sales report of the four major mining companies has been released, with Vale returning to the top of the iron ore production ranking after seven years. The data shows that in 2025, Rio Tinto's Pilbara iron ore production was 327 million tons, a decrease of 0.21% compared to the previous year; Vale's iron ore production reached 336 million tons, an increase of 2.56% compared to the previous year, reaching a new high since 2018; BHP's production was 292 million tons, an increase of 0.8% compared to the previous year; Fortescue's iron ore processing volume was 203 million tons, a 5.41% increase compared to the previous year.
