On February 10, 2026, Zhang Ke, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the National Healthcare Security Administration, went to Tianjin to conduct research on healthcare security work. Zhang Ke pointed out that it is necessary to deepen the creation of the "People in My Heart" party building brand, coordinate top-down efforts to form a unified strategy for party building within the healthcare security system, fully leverage the political leading and guaranteeing role of party building, elaborate and implement specific measures for creation, and effectively promote high-quality development of healthcare security through high-quality party building. It is important to firmly establish and practice a correct view of achievements, adhere to achieving achievements for the people with real actions, strengthen the sense of purpose, cultivate a compassionate attitude towards the people, bravely undertake heavy responsibilities, establish a multi-level healthcare security system, fully implement long-term care insurance, improve the quality and coverage of procurement of drugs and consumables, make progress in national mutual recognition and interconnection of medical insurance images, fully implement individual cross-province mutual aid through personal medical insurance clouds, and achieve substantive progress in other people's livelihood projects. It is important to deepen the management of healthcare funds and focus on addressing outstanding issues, crack down on illegal and irregular use of healthcare funds, and safeguard the people's "medical money" and "life-saving money".
