The price of silver soared above $85 per ounce amid sharp fluctuations. Despite weakening industrial, jewelry, and silverware consumption, the World Silver Association expects the silver market to experience a supply deficit for the sixth consecutive year, driven by strong investment demand, further supporting the price of silver.

The unexpectedly strong increase in non-farm employment in the United States has shocked traders in the US bond market, causing them to reduce their bets on a rate cut by the Federal Reserve this year.
