Bill Gates visited China again after a gap of two and a half years.

On the evening of February 11th, Bill Gates, Chairman of the Gates Foundation, unexpectedly appeared in Zhangjiang, Shanghai to attend an event called "Taking Action to Create Hope." The event focused on global health and development issues, during which Gates also engaged in a conversation with documentary director Zhou Yijun. According to the First Financial News, Gates' visit to China this time aims to understand the latest progress of Chinese partners in key areas such as infectious disease prevention and control, maternal and child health, and agriculture, and to explore how to better apply relevant experiences and technologies to the international community, mainly low- and middle-income countries, to promote tangible results in global health and development. This visit is Gates' second visit to China after June 2023, about two and a half years later.
