The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council visited and extended sympathies to Taiwanese businessmen and compatriots in Fujian.

The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and the Taiwan Work Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China visited and paid respects to Taiwanese businessmen and compatriots in Fuzhou, Fujian Province on the 11th, holding a symposium for Taiwanese businessmen and compatriots to welcome the Chinese New Year and a festive event titled "Promoting Development and Integration - Compatriots on Both Sides of the Strait Celebrate the Year of the Horse". Nearly 200 representatives from the National Taiwan Enterprise Association, chairmen of local Taiwan Associations, Taiwanese businessmen and youth representatives, business people from Taiwan, as well as people from Matsu and Kinmen attended the event.
