Sun Mingyan of Ningde Times: The essence of "involution" is homogenized competition caused by lack of innovation protection.

Recently, at the Third China All-Solid-State Battery Innovation and Development Summit Forum held in Beijing, Sun Mingyan, Chief Intellectual Property Officer of CATL, shared the "intellectual property strategies for the internationalization of power batteries". Sun Mingyan pointed out that the current industry "inward collapse" is essentially caused by insufficient protection of innovation leading to homogenized competition, and called for the establishment of a sound industrial ecology through improving the intellectual property system.
