The Colombian President reportedly survived a failed attack while traveling by helicopter.

On February 10th, local time, Colombian President Petro, during a televised cabinet meeting, stated that he had once again survived an attempted attack. Petro said that the previous night, when the helicopter he was traveling in with his children was originally supposed to land, they received a safety alert about someone planning to shoot. They were forced to change their route temporarily, flying towards the open sea for about 4 hours, and eventually landing at a location that was not previously scheduled.
